I’m continuing with my quest to explore and learn GPU SPH with the latest results shown below. In this case I’m continuing from the very simple dam break case but have simply thrown more particles at the problem.
The visualisation is great and all and I love the colour schemes. Its also cool to see some particles attached to the wall but vey slowly fall under the influence of gravity. However, I’m not sure that the viscosity is correct as I was expecting more splashing and for the sloshing within the tank to run for longer.
Maybe its time to break out a CFD simulation for comparison…
